AMC has produced some of the most awarded and critically acclaimed hit drama series of our time. Whether commemorating favorite films from every genre and decade, or creating acclaimed original programming, AMC brings to its audience something deeper, something richer, something more.

AMC launched in the US in 1984 as a film channel. In 2007, it started broadcasting original drama series such as Mad Men that met exceptional success. Many great series followed, such as Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead and Hell on Wheels. In Asia, AMC will debut 2 new original series this year: “Halt and Catch Fire” and “The Divide”.

"Hell on Wheels" transports audiences back to post Civil War America and examines the struggles and hardships of rebuilding and repairing our country after the bloodiest war on American soil. The series examines the railroad’s institutionalized greed and corruption, the immigrant experience, the plight of the newly emancipated African-Americans during Reconstruction, and the ravaging of the Native American land and people, in the name of progress.
