What can you watch?
Halt and Catch Fire
It’s March 1985. More than a year has passed since Joe MacMillan (Lee Pace) set fire to a truck full of Cardiff Giant PCs, the last in a long string of destructive acts that burned the people that made the machine possible: Gordon Clark (Scoot McNairy), Donna Clark (Kerry Bishé), Cameron Howe (Mackenzie Davis) and John Bosworth (Toby Huss). The Giant is about to go the way of the dinosaur, like any number of personal computers to enter the market in the wake of IBM. The lesson is harsh but clear: in history, only the truly disruptive ideas are destined to matter.
Hell on Wheels
Centered on the lawless town known as “Hell on Wheels,” which travels with the western end of the Union Pacific Railroad, the series explores the railroad’s greed and corruption, the immigrant experience and the plight of the newly emancipated African-Americans.
Hell on Wheels stars Anson Mount as former confederate soldier Cullen Bohannon, who has journeyed west following the Civil War and struggles to escape his demons sparked by the conflict. Bohannon is participating in the building of the Union Pacific in its race to meet up with the Central Pacific’s line to form the first transcontinental railroad. Working often against Bohannon is Thomas “Doc” Durant (Colm Meaney), a greedy entrepreneur taking full advantage of changing times.
Fear the Walking Dead
Premiering on 23 August 2015 in the U.S., the first season will consist of six one-hour episodes. A second season has already been ordered and will air in 2016. The show will premiere within minutes of the U.S. broadcast on 24 August at 9:10 am (Philippine Standard Time), only on AMC.
