SKY Kapamilya, here are ways we are addressing illegal cable cutting and its effects to you.

Illegal cable-cutting is becoming even more rampant, resulting in prolonged periods of service interruptions in large areas, robbing you and your families of access to connectivity, information and entertainment through your SKY services.

Illegal cable-cutting has been an ongoing issue and concern among telcos, cable TV and internet service providers, and power utilities providers in the country.

Be assured that we are continuously working on curbing and eliminating illegal cable-cutting through various initiatives.

Actions taken against illegal cable cutting:
  • More frequent technical visits, tighter coordination with local government units and deployment of patrols
  • Daily monitoring of cable-cutting incidents across SKY franchise areas nationwide and identification of hotspots for increased patrols
  • Reduced average resolution time from 14.85 hours in September to 10.21 hours in October
