SKY Advisory: Typhoon Lawin

October 19, 2016 07:51 PM

We wish to inform you that super typhoon Lawin is expected to cause moderate to intense rains and winds upon landfall. Subscribers within high-alert level areas might experience service interruption indefinitely. As much as we want to provide our subscribers with immediate customer service and technical solutions to quickly restore high-quality cable broadcasts, the severe weather conditions during the super typhoon’s transit over the Philippines will gravely hamper SKY’s ability to immediately respond.

SKY commits to immediately restore its services once the weather calms, the roads become passable, and power is restored in heavily-affected areas.

As of this time, the following are the high-alert level areas based on PAGASA’s current data: Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, Kalinga, Ilocos Norte, Abra, Ilocos Sur, Mt. Proivince, Ifugao, Calayan Group of Islands, La Uniuon, Benguet, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Northern Aurora, Batanes Group of Isalnds, Pangasinan, Rest of Aurora, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Northern Zambales, Northern Quezon, Polillo Island, Rest of Zambales, Bulacan, Bataan, Pampanga, Rizal, Rest of Quezon, Cavite, laguna, Batnagas, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, Metro Manila.
