UAAP Kicks Off Season 82 of Men's Basketball

Coming off from one of the most unpredictable and exciting seasons in recent history, the UAAP Season 82 Men’s Basketball kicks off once again.

Last year saw the unexpected rise of the UP Fighting Maroons and the Adamson Falcons, with a playoff series for the books. The Fighting Maroons, especially, as last season’s runner-up and biggest upset, will definitely not make it easy for defending champion Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles to make a three-peat.

Still, a lot of the teams have gone through some major retooling, with interesting rookie pick-ups – like UE’s newest 6-foot-1 addition, and La Salle’s 3 one-and-done Fil-Am recruits. Despite a significant amount of rookie additions, UST Growling Tigers are still formidable with their sharp shooters, while the Adamson University Falcons return with Pumaren at the helm.

Safe to say, Season 82 is setting up to be another exciting one for the UAAP.
