But Apollo freaks out on their wedding day and goes away, leaving a very hurt and inconsolable Irene. When they bump into each other again, the still hurting Irene feigns amnesia, with no memories at all of the now remorseful Apollo who tries to win back Irene’s heart. Apollo courts Irene again to make a fresh start. Irene is still in love and wants to admit that she has faked her amnesia while conscience stricken Apollo has decided to tell her he was her former boyfriend who jilted her. But then Apollo figures in an accident and suffers from temporary amnesia.
