May magandang balita para kay tatay para mapanood ang mga piling Pinoy Pride boxing fights! Balikan ang mga ‘di malilimutang bakbakan, at pasiklabin muli ang Pinoy Pride. Manood nang libre at back-to-back ngayong April-- Pinoy Pride 28: History in the Making; Pinoy Pride 34: Back with a Vengeance; and Pinoy Pride 39: Road to Redemption.

Pinoy Pride 28: History in the Making

Pinoy Pride: History in the Making, held at the Robinson’s Mall Fuente. All 20 combatants made their respective weights. Headlining the event is Donnie “Ahas” Nietes as he defends his WBO world Jr. flyweight title against Mexico’s Carlos “Chapito” Velarde. The co-main event features the IBF Jr. flyweight title eliminator bout between Milan “El Metodico” Melindo, as he battles another one of Mexico’s fighting pride, Saul “Baby” Juarez. Also defending his title is “Prince” Albert Pagara, as he puts his IBF Inter-Continental Jr. featherweight title against another Mexican challenger, Raul Hirales.

Pinoy Pride 34: Back With A Vengeance

They both bungled their previous world title bids. Now, “King” Arthur Villanueva and Milan Melindo are raring to get back into boxing’s elite ranks.

Villanueva tangles with Mexican Victor Mendez for the World Boxing Council International super flyweight championship in the headliner of “Pinoy Pride 34” Saturday night at Hoops Dome here. Melindo collides with substitute fighter Victor Emmanuel Olivo, also of Mexico, in the chief support of the 66-round “Back With a Vengeance” card put up by ALA Promotions in cooperation with ABS-CBN.

Aside from the interim IBF light flyweight championship main event between Milan Melindo and Thailand's Fahlan Sakkreerin Jr. and the return of the Pagara brothers, a handful of ALA Boxing's young up-and-comers are also seeing action.

Jeo "Santino" Santisima (11-2, 10 KO) takes on Rex Wao (11-3, 9 KO) from Baguio City, while reigning WBO Oriental super bantamweight champion Jimmy "Popeye" Paypa (18-3-1, 6 KO) meets Bacolod's Jerry Nardo (21-9, 11 KO) in a non-title bout.

Also on the card, unbeaten Melvin "Gringo" Jerusalem (10-0, 7 KO) meets DavaoeñoBonjonLoperez (10-5-1, 5 KO), Kevin Jake "KJ" Cataraja (4-0, 3 KO) takes on fellow Cebuano John KenanVillaflor (6-1-2, 2 KO), and Virgel "Valiente" Vitor (8-1, 5 KO) faces Cebu's own Jonathan Francisco (8-6-1, 2 KO).
