The buzz began late last year when the Kensington Palace officially announced via Twitter that Prince Harry will finally be marrying the Hollywood actress Meghan Markle on May 19, 2018.
Now with only a few days left, the preparations are almost complete. Here’s what we know about the highly anticipated wedding of the year:
The Venue

Located 20 miles away from central London, the wedding will be held at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. With a capacity for 800 people, the chapel was supposedly chosen for holding a special meaning between the royal couple-to-be.
The Time

The ceremony will start at 12:00NN, London time – that’s 7:00PM here in Manila. But as early as 9:00AM, over a thousand specially selected spectators – charity workers, local school children, employees of the queen, and other lucky guests – are expected to start trickling into the Windsor grounds, ready to welcome and cheer on the bride.
The Guests

Speaking of guests, there are about 600 or so official attendees who’ve received the royal invitation, arriving by bus, starting around thirty minutes after the gates to Windsor Castle grounds open. They’ll be driven in coaches to the Round Tower, before continuing on to the South Door of St. George Chapel on foot. Two hundred of these are charity representatives who will get to greet Prince Harry, accompanied by Prince William in person right before the ceremony.
The members of the Royal Family will be arriving at 11:20AM (6:20PM PH time) via the Galilee Porch, some arriving by car, others by foot.
The Cake and Food

California-bred pastry chef Claire Ptak, owner of London bakery Violet, will be in charge of creating the royal wedding cake. The masterpiece has been announced to be infused with lemon and elderflowers, with buttercream frosting and fresh flowers.
Table Talk will be taking care of the British banquet for the guests – the same caterers who handled Will and Kate’s reception back in 2011, as well as Pippa Middleton’s, last year.
Meanwhile the wedding dress, and the overall look Meghan will be donning on the walk down the aisle, remains a mystery.
Official wedding photographer Alexi Lubomirski will no doubt provide the public with quality snaps of the memorable event, but why wait when you can see it for yourself live?
