F1 Continues to Spain and Monaco

We’re four grand prix down the season, with Ferrari barely in the lead with 2 wins. Red Bull and Mercedes are right behind with a triumph each, making for quite an exciting season this 2018.

The last race in Baku saw both of Red Bull’s drivers, Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen, crashing into each other and sending them off the tracks. Lewis Hamilton took first place for Mercedes, after his team member – and admittedly rightful winner – Valterri Bottas got tangled up with a piece of debris.

Sergio Perez took third for Force India, seemingly a master of Baku’s tricky corners and high-speed straights. It’s his second time scoring a podium, giving Force India its first circuit to score two podiums.

It’s been quite the thrilling past couple of races, often with the Safety Car turning the standings topsy-turvy. Will the same happen in this month’s Spanish and Monaco Grand Prix?

Both tracks have been staples to the Formula 1 races for at least a couple of decades, and the current drivers in the lead are more than familiar with the Catalunya and Monte Carlo circuits that give little opportunities for overtaking.
